  This Level 2 Formation Course for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd will be held on the following dates:
  August 3-8, 2026, at the Holy Cross Blessed Sacrament Spiritual Center (3012 Jackson Street)
  August 2-7, 2027, at the Holy Cross Blessed Sacrament Spiritual Center (3012 Jackson Street)
  The total cost of the course is $250.00. Participants from the Sioux City, IA, diocese are encouraged to apply for the Catholic Lay Apostolate Scholarship for tuition assistance. Recipients of the scholarship will be reimbursed for the amount awarded after training is completed.
  
  All participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses and arrangements.

- Meet the Leader
  
  Hope Johnson fell in love with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program when introduced to it over 25 years ago. She has been sharing the love of the Good Shepherd with the children of the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle in Jackson, Mississippi for 23 years and serves as Coordinator of the Children's Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for the parish.
  
  Hope has been invited to lead a number of Level I and Level II Catechesis of the Good Shepherd formation courses for adults in the Jackson area and around the nation. She brings her joy in celebrating the love of God with children to each formation course and is grateful and blessed to share this gift with others.
