Holy Cross Parish will offer Adoration from 6:00 PM on Tuesday to 5:30 PM on Wednesday during the first week of the month. To sign up for a specific hour, please contact the parish office. Thomas James “Tom” Ladwig, 72, of Sioux City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Holy Cross Parish – St. Michael Catholic Church. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Marie Veronica Haley, 92, of Sioux City passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2026, at Holy Cross Parish – St. Michael Catholic Church in Sioux City, with Father Randy Schon serving as celebrant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, and a Rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Beginner lessons will be offered on Thursday, August 13, from 1:00–3:30 p.m. and Wednesday, August 19, from 6:30–9:00 p.m. Attend one or both sessions. After your lesson, join us for Guided Play or Social Play on Tuesdays from 9:00–11:30 a.m. to practice your skills in a friendly, supportive setting.
