Louella Mae (Fredrickson) Collins, 91, of Sioux City, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Holy Cross Parish – St. Michael Catholic Church. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 4-7:00 p.m. Prayer service at 6:00pm at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Danbury, Iowa.

The Missouri River Choral Society will present "25th Anniversary: A 9/11 Tribute Concert" on Sunday, September 13 at 7:00 pm at the Bishop Heelan High School Auditorium. The event will feature imagery from the September 11, 2001 attacks, speakers, and music to remember the horror experienced in the United States. Patriotic music will be mixed with emotional tributes to recall that day in history. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door or by calling 712-251-6705.
